Cathbad of Brodick

 Cathbad is a Scottish Farmer and craftsman from the Isle of Arran. In his youth he sailed the seas, trading a bit and raiding a bit but now he prefers to spend his time working with his hands and making objects of practical beauty for his friends and neighbours.

He is also well known for being one of the few in our village who has whole hartedly turned to the new religion that Brother John preaches.

Cathbad has a knack of turning conversations into an excuse to deviate to one of the many stories he learned from his father or picked up on his travels!
